====== Safety Guidelines ======

Suggested Guidelines to help improve safety for other air users and the general public.

  * Payloads should be kept small - just a few hundred grams at most.
  * At least 30mm of polystyrene foam (or similar) all round - this not only insulates the payload but adds impact protection.
  * Generally use lightweight materials and components
  * No heavy or rigid structural components
  * Parachutes should be securely attached to the payload - a parcel knot is suggested as a good way of ensuring the payload is attached and can't come apart. 

**Avoid:**
  * Nylon cables ties - they appear to get brittle at low tempretures - avoid use for load carrying applications.
